We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, located in a nice area to explore in the evenings and see some of the local Beijing residents. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, with prompt and cheerful assistance. The room amenities, such as air conditioning and in-room safe, were top-notch. The hotel also had a dining restaurant and a bar/lounge area, which we found convenient for relaxing after a long day of exploring. the hotel's attention to our requirements and their service and energy made our stay enjoyable.
Despite being in a quiet residential area, this place was quite far from the attractions we wanted to visit, like the Forbidden City. However, we would still recommend this hotel to everyone due to its exceptional service and comfortable amenities.

The lobby was beautiful as were the elevators.
The rooms could be better decorated. The only real problem was that the room smelled of smoke. It would help if the staff spoke better English (not an unreasonable expectation for an American chain). This is my first Beijing hotel so I have nothing else to compare it with. It was pretty standard for an inner city Holiday Inn except for the smoke problem.

The hotel we stayed at was amazing! Perfect location for travelers, with easy access to transportation and close to main attractions. the staff was the best part of our stay: friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. the facilities were comfortable with great amenities that made our stay more enjoyable. the food was delicious and never disappointed.
the only other downside was that our room did not have a great view, but this was not a huge issue since we were out exploring most of the time.

Cleanliness and comfort of the room. The breakfast buffet also offered quite a variety of western and eastern food. Upgrading to executive room offers a lot of benefits.
The location is far from the nearest subway, and the taxi drivers are not all willing to drive 10 km.

The clean rooms and western atmosphere
More tourist information would have been good. SOmeone to take me to the room, to show how the key and electricity worked, and how to change the temperature of the room. The food and internet was VERY expensive.

Great gym and pool facilities, perfect for a workout or relaxation. The on-site restaurants, particularly the Chinese one, offer delicious meals. The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff are very helpful, with a special mention to Linda, who provided valuable suggestions and assistance during my stay. The hotel is conveniently located near local shops and grocery stores, allowing for a glimpse into the local lifestyle. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a restful stay.
The laundry service is quite expensive, not worth the price. However, the lunch meals were of good value and quality.

Hotel had excellent facilities and lacked nothing. The only problem was with the air-conditioning which wasn't working & due to the heating we were uncomfortable else everything from service to staff was very good.
The absence of proper air-conditioning was the only problem.

Clean and comfortable rooms with great views from the window. Good and free internet access, which can sometimes be difficult to find in this city. Convenient location near public transportation and amenities such as restaurants and shops. The breakfast provided was delicious and filled us up for the day.
Absolutely nothing.

I thought the Holiday Inn at Plaza Central Beijing was outstanding on every level. Especially the service. We stayed at several others during our China stay (some of which actually cost more) and found this hotel FAR superior. We felt as though the staff genuinely tried to assist us and were charming and friendly. I also really enjoyed the afternoon tea and drinks (executive benefits). The staff went out of their way to accommodate our very active 3 year old son.

The staff, especially Storm, were very helpful and courteous.
Internet should be free at the price I was paying.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was great and had a good price. Rooms were new and very comfortable.
Location is not very central and metro is not nearby. Traveling by taxi in Beijing is cheap and easy (as long as the taximeter is on)
